Grassroot's founding team had a first day-long workshop this last Saturday (the 14th). It took place at the JoziHub, to whom we owe deep gratitude for allowing us to use their meeting space for almost a whole day.
During the day, we dived into the meaning and rationale for our objectives, the tangible capabilities we seek to enable, and the design of our first two projects. These are now reflected in the "projects" section of the website, including the overview, and the now-more-detailed pages on the community safety and service delivery projects.
We'll have a follow-on workshop on this coming Saturday, the 21st, to thrash out the organization, infrastructure, testing and roll out tactics, and so forth. Hopefully we'll also have some of our advisers and partners there with us.
