We’ve spent a large chunk of the last month taking the broad ideas for our first tools and breaking them down into microscopic functional steps, then building up into wireframes and dummy menus. We're user-testing soon, as well as developing. To move at the pace we need, we've decided that it's time for our first hire.
As of today, Grassroot is recruiting. We're looking for a young developer—someone who can learn fast and get things done, work in the field and iterate with the communities and users who are our audience. We hope to interview end of May and early June, and bring whoever’s selected on-board soon after.
There's a job description available on Google drive, and soon to be replicated elsewhere. Anyone interested should submit a CV and links (where available) to contributions and competitions entered, to firstname.lastname@example.org. Closing date is May 22.
