Grassroot works with a flexible team that draws on the contributions and efforts of a range of part-time contributors, as senior developers and as our community outreach coordinators and "Grassroot ambassadors". Luke Jordan

Formerly at McKinsey in Johannesburg and Shanghai for 5 years (2005-10), the World Bank in New Delhi for 3 years (2011-14), and advisor to municipal and national government in South Africa (2014-15). Currently full-time Executive Director at Grassroot.

Nokwanda Sihlali

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and Rhodes University, Nokwanda has recently joined Grassroot as a full-time community builder. She engages directly with Grassroot's early adopters, helping to spread use of the tool and channel feedback to the development team.

Machaba Machaba

Formerly at McKinsey in Johannesburg (2006-8) and a graduate of INSEAD Business School (2009). Subsequently transitioned into software development. Non-Executive Independent Director at Grassroot.

Paballo Ditshego

Formerly an agribusiness entrepreneur, subsequently transitioned into software development. Junior developer, focused on Android development, at Grassroot.
